FEATURED NOTES MARCH 2010
2009 RESNET Building Performance Conference Served as Catalyst for the Building Performance Industry

On February 21 – 24, 2010, over 950 building performance professionals gathered in Raleigh, North Carolina to participate in the 2009 RESNET Building Performance Conference. The conference provided a unique opportunity for participants to share the latest information on successful business models, program delivery, technical innovations and policy initiatives. Not only did this year’s conference top all previous conference attendance records, it also offered the most break-out sessions (8 preconference sessions and 70 break-out sessions).

Donna McIntire of the United Nations Environmental, David Goldstein of the Natural Resources Defense Council and Philip Fairey of the Florida Solar Energy Center, presented the conference's keynote addresses.

RESNET wishes to thank the conference’s presenters, sponsors, patrons, supporters, exhibitors and volunteers. Without your support, the 2010 conference would not have been the success that it was.

RESNET is conducting an online evaluation of the conference. To date, 84.7% of the respondents rated the conference satisfactory and 82.8% indicated that they planned to attend the 2011 conference.

RESNET is posting the presentations given at the 2010 RESNET Conference on at http://www.resnet.us/conference/2010/presentations/default.htm. Session presentations will be posted as they are submitted, so check the site periodically.
