FEATURED NOTES MARCH 2010 RESNET Adopts New Vision and Mission Statements There has been a dramatic change in the building performance and home energy rating markets. To reflect this change the RESNET Board of Directors has adopted a new vision and mission statement for the organization. The new vision statement for RESNET is: RESNET’s vision is of a world that encourages and rewards minimizing building energy use through independent, performance-based building certification. The new mission statement is: RESNET’s mission is to establish and maintain the standards of quality for evaluating building energy performance and increase the opportunity for ownership of high performance buildings.
